I'm planning on making a large section of my back yard into a garden and grow all my own vegtables and learn how to can & perserve. I hate to think it but if we ever find ourselves in a position like Clara's family was, I like to know my family and I can survive. Thank you Clara for your wisdoms.

Wow! She likes her food salty. Maybe she's got low blood pressure. I have, and I increased my salt and feel better, but I don't like that much salt. We don't do this dish in the UK, but it looks great and I'm going to cook it tomorrow night. Go Clara!
